People Incorporated serves people with mental illness in the Minneapolis and Saint Paul metro area. In 2017, we reached over 12,000 individuals through more than 60 different programs. Helping people with mental illness requires great flexibility and creativity. That's why we start with the person first...developing innovative, effective services that provide the care, resources, and connections that will help each person in the best way possible. Join us in our mission to support mental health and wellness in our community through collaboration and integration of care!

People Incorporated is searching for candidates for an ARMHS position at a residential program. If you would like to develop long-term relationships and positively impact people who have complex mental health diagnoses then our residential programs might be a great place to pursue your career. We have an excellent training department and employees have access to trainings in a variety of mental health topics to develop greater skill levels. Dakota Apartment Program is a step between traditional adult foster care services and independent living. We serve individuals who are having challenges with their mental health. In order to receive our services, an individual must be approved for a Home and Community Based Services Waiver such as CADI or BI.  This position will be responsible for a case load of clients for which they will provide ARMHS services in the individuals' apartments

Our Mental Health Practitioners create a supportive environment and help people learn coping skills and independent living skills in order to help them move in the direction of their hopes and dreams. Our residents are adults who manage all their own personal cares.  Position responsibilities include:

  • Creating and revising Mental Health Assessments and Service Plans for people in our program
  • Learning and understanding each resident's treatment plans in order to best support their goals
  • Documenting observations about the residents' activities and behaviors
  • Counseling residents through crises and supporting their development of coping skills
  • Coaching residents on the development of greater independent living skills
  • Joining residents for recreational activities
  • Administering medications

We currently have one full-time position open.  Our evening shifts include a regular hourly wage plus an evening shift differential!
