We are honored to be selected as one of the clinics to launch the first Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) within the United States!  CCBHC are community clinics that offer comprehensive, coordinated and integrated care to children and adults with complex mental and chemical health conditions.  CCBHC will provide outreach, increase access, improve services, and serve as a "one-stop-shop" to those who are currently underserved with mental health and substance use disorders.

We are seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional I.  Our services utilize evidenced-based practices and include a wide variety of interventions, including harm reduction strategies. Each resident collaborates with staff to develop individualized treatment goals and works toward an individualized vision of recovery. This is a CCBHC position to provide additional support to the Children's programs.

The Mental Health Professional I provides intensive treatment services for a primary case load of 3-6 clients. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing therapeutic alliance
  • Conducting comprehensive assessment
  • Creating individualized treatment plans
  • Daily interventions
  • Facilitating group 2-3 times per week
  • Completing diagnostic assessments

Although the services provided are primarily skills-based and rehabilitative in nature, this position has the opportunity to include individual or family therapy at times.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in human service field
  • 2000 hours of experience in the provision of services to persons with mental illness
  • Current and valid professional license in the state of Minnesota: LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of motivational interviewing, CBT, crisis intervention, DBT, trauma-informed care, and psychiatric rehabilitation
  • Experience leading groups and completing diagnostic assessments
