Kindred Adolescent Recovery Services is expanding in Coon Rapids! We are an innovative program offering integrated outpatient treatment services for adolescents with co-occuring substance abuse and mental health disorders.

The Mental Health Professional I will provide direct clinical services to adolescents in an outpatient setting as well as conduct assessments, facilitate clinical consultation and collaboration, complete case management and clinicaldocumentation tasks pursuant to MN 245G, and support the management team as the mental health subject matter expert. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing therapeutic alliance
  • Conducting comprehensive assessment
  • Creating individualized treatment plans
  • Daily interventions
  • Facilitating group 2-3 times per week
  • Completing diagnostic assessments

Although the services provided are primarily skills-based and rehabilitative in nature, this position has the opportunity to include individual or family therapy at times.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in human service field
  • 2000 hours of experience in the provision of services to persons with mental illness
  • Current and valid professional license in the state of Minnesota: LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of motivational interviewing, CBT, crisis intervention, DBT, trauma-informed care, and psychiatric rehabilitation
  • Experience leading groups and completing diagnostic assessments
