People Incorporated is searching for candidates for our Residential programs. If you would like to develop long-term relationships and positively impact people who have complex mental health diagnoses then our residential programs might be a great place to pursue your career. We have an excellent training department and employees have access to trainings in a variety of mental health topics to develop greater skill levels. 

Our Mental Health Practitioners create a supportive environment and help people learn coping skills and independent living skills in order to help them move in the direction of their hopes and dreams. Our residents are adults who manage all their own personal cares.  Position responsibilities include:

  • Creating and revising Mental Health Assessments and Service Plans for people in our program
  • Learning and understanding each resident's treatment plans in order to best support their goals
  • Documenting observations about the residents' activities and behaviors
  • Counseling residents through crises and supporting their development of coping skills
  • Coaching residents on the development of greater independent living skills
  • Joining residents for recreational activities
  • Administering medications

We currently have two full-time positions - one days and one evenings in Dakota County.  Our evening shifts include a regular hourly wage plus an evening shift differential!  

Required qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Clean driving record with a current and valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Three years full-time experience working with people with serious mental illness

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services

  • One year full-time experience working with people with serious mental illness
