The Administrative Offices of People Incorporated centralize operational support for our programs. Our Finance department drives fiscal responsibility in an organization with an annual operating budget of roughly $43 million. We are searching for a Financial Operations Associate to join our team. This is an integral part of our team and will execute tactical financial duties that benefit our clients and our financial stability.  The employee will:

  • Complete insurance verifications, pre-authorizations and re-authorizations, and consumer co-pay processes
  • Enter and report on highly confidential and protected health information in the organization's electronic medical record
  • Coordinate information with the Billing team for seamless claim and reimbursement processes
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and correspondence/documents to support financial operations
  • Communicate professionally and effectively and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Cross-train with and provide back-up support for other Financial Operations Associates as part of an intra-organizational team

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Four years of advanced administrative or financial operations assistant experience

OR

  • Associate's Degree
  • Two years of advanced administrative or financial operations assistant experience

OR

  • Bachelor's degree  
  • One year of advanced administrative assistant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with individuals who have mental illness
  • Prior finance support experience within a not-for-profit or healthcare environment
