We are seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional I.  Our services utilize evidenced-based practices and include a wide variety of interventions, including harm reduction strategies. Each resident collaborates with staff to develop individualized treatment goals and works toward an individualized vision of recovery. Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing potential clients to see if they are clinical appropriate for an IRTS environment
  • Estimating how effective the IRTS environment will be to support their goals
  • Conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments for all incoming IRTS clients
  • Facilitating "seeking safety" groups at both IRTS facilities
  • Offer clinical guidance and consultation to other, less clinical staff

Although the services provided are primarily skills-based and rehabilitative in nature, this position has the opportunity to include individual or family therapy at times.  Typical hours of the position are Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in human service field
  • 2000 hours of experience in the provision of services to persons with mental illness
  • Current and valid professional license in the state of Minnesota: LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of motivational interviewing, CBT, crisis intervention, DBT, trauma-informed care, and psychiatric rehabilitation
  • Experience leading groups and completing diagnostic assessments
