We are seeking a Director of IT Services to lead the department and deliver a solid infrastructure that aligns Information Technology (IT) with the strategic business objectives of the organization.  This role serves as a strategic partner and directs all operational activities of the IT department. In addition, this position works closely with decision makers through the organization to identify, recommend, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.  Responsibilities:

  • Direct all technology operations and systems to leverage resources, provide innovative strategies, and ensure end users have the tools required to meet achieve their business objectives
  • Ensure electronic health record (EHR) is compliant with HIPPA regulations, MN Data Records Act, and policies minimize compliance risk
  • Stay current on evolution, maturation, and trends within technology to match with external business application providers to ensure financial management, grant making, and document management systems meet organizational needs
  • Manage the development and performance of assigned employees to assure optimum use of resources

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Systems
  • Five years of IT leadership experience including strategic planning and development of policy and infrastructure
  • Five years of computer support and project management support
  • Five years of system security and computer networking and troubleshooting experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Computer Information Systems
  • Three years of experience managing and /or implementing an EMR system
  • Six years of experience in information technology, database management and hardware and software administration
  • Experience working with individuals who have mental illness
  • Prior IT support and/or management experience in a not-for-profit work environment
