Our Domestic Abuse & Anger Management Groups work to end the inter-generational cycle of violence and reduce physical, verbal, and emotional abuse. Our participants may be referred or may be court-ordered to our programs.  Our focus is psycho-educational to understand anger, regulate emotions, reduce abusive behaviors and create positive communication within the family system. 

People Incorporated is searching for a Licensed Program Supervisor for this program! Responsibilities include:

  • Completing comprehensive diagnostic assessments including an evaluation of client functioning and the relationship to mental and chemical health. 
  • Conducting a variety of educational and psycho-educational services in individual or group settings using approved curriculum guidelines
  • Creating a sense of community and team among staff and clients
  • Hiring and orienting program staff
  • Supervising and coaching staff for excellence in accuracy and quality of services
  • Helping staff in the development of skills
  • Coordinating program schedules and meetings
  • Facilitating weekly clinical supervision meetings, reviewing treatment plans and assessments
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with program staff and other program managers
  • Establishing topics of conversation for the group along with accompanying activities to emphasize the discussion topics
  • Create and maintain collaborative partnerships with referral sources, such as probation officers, therapists and child protection services
  • Documenting group or individual progress notes into the organization's Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in behavior science (i.e. social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy or nursing)
  • Two years (4,000 hours) of experience in human services
  • Current and unrestricted Minnesota license as a: LMFT, LICSW, LP or LPCC

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Experience providing services to people with mental illnesses
