Our Children's Day Treatment program is searching for a Mental Health Therapist to join our team. Our program works with children and adolescents ages 5-18 who have a mental health diagnosis and severe emotional and behavioral disturbances.  We work in the milieu and 1:1 and get to see positive changes every day.  Typical hours for the position will be Monday – Friday, 7:30 – 4:00pm.

The Mental Health Therapist is will:

  • Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with children, parents and other family members
  • Assess needs of clients; develop and implement treatment plans and regularly evaluate effectiveness of these plans
  • Provide individual, group and family therapy with children and their families
  • Maintain regular communication with family, school, and other providers
  • Perform diagnostic assessments/evaluations, develop treatment plans and perform case reviews
  • Develop and maintain all required charting for clients, including intakes and discharge summaries, and treatment plans

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Previous experience providing individual, group and/or family therapy
  • Previous experience with children or adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral disturbances and their families

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CTSS standards
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with collateral agencies
