We are seeking a Vice President of Operations to select, design and implement programs that support the overall mission of the organization.   This position is a key member of the executive leadership team which collaborates to set the direction of the agency and steward our resources toward growth.  Responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and oversight for assigned programs ensuring that they are current, competitive, within financial constraints, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Promoting the delivery of health care that is person-centered and that aligns with recovery and rehabilitative models of care
  • Functioning as a core member of the executive team, actively involved in strategy, metrics, talent management, innovation, organizational improvement, and other overall application of strategic and tactical decision and activities.
  • Providing guidance, support and direction to team members to improve decision-making on active projects and initiatives to ensure adherence to organizational goals and objectives.
  • Developing and reviewing operating policies and procedures, directing their implementation and ensuring their effectiveness.
  • Managing budgets in a fiscally responsible way, ensuring budget compliance, analysis of variances, operational productivity and forecasting to determine progress towards goals.
  • Developing respectful and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders, interacting with constituent groups, community organizations, federal, state and county organizations to foster and cultivate relationships.
  • Partnering with Advancement on cultivating relationships and supporting donor relations.
  • Developing high performing managers, supervisors, and employees through ongoing coaching, mentoring, employee training and skills development.
  • Leading teams to create a sense of community and collaboration with open dialogue.
  • Conducting duties in an unbiased manner in accordance with the agency's mission statement and guiding principles by which all program participants, volunteers, and staff are treated equally regardless of race, gender, religion, age, physical and mental abilities and/or sexual orientation.
  • Partnering with other Vice Presidents for consistent and clear communications on clinical strategy and best practice  of our operational units.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in management or human services
  • Ten years of leadership experience 
  • Experience leading and developing human services programs

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in behavior science
  • Current and unrestricted Minnesota license as a: LMFT, LICSW, LP or LPCC
