We are searching for a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our ACT Teams.  Our ideal candidate will collaborate with team members and Clinical Supervisor to serve clients in the community. We are interested in candidates seeking either full-time or part-time schedules.  The full-time schedule would cover two ACT Teams.  One of our ACT Teams serves adults who experience homelessness and the other ACT Team serves youth.  A part-time role would serve either one of the teams.  Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the psychiatric treatment of clients including diagnostic assessments and prescribing psycho-pharmacological treatments
  • Assessing recipient responses to medication on a consistent basis
  • Meeting clients in a clinic environment and in the community 
  • Completing diagnostic assessments and documentation within seven days of visit
  • Collaborating with team members by regularly participating in team meetings
  • Providing on-call support to clients and staff

Required qualifications:

  • Licensed as an APRN in Minnesota with certification in psychiatric or mental health
  • Current license in good standing with the State of Minnesota
  • Able to independently prescribe medications with current DEA registration

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience in emergency, inpatient, or community psychiatry
