Stark Mental Health Clinic provides comprehensive mental health services including assessment, diagnoses, and treatment for people with mental illness, adjustment issues, and those struggling with co-occurring mental illness and chemical dependency. We also provide counseling for families in need of comprehensive care or support for a loved one's mental illness. We aim to provide the highest-quality care based on best practices, and work collaboratively with each person or family to address mental health issues, optimize health and wellness, and develop strategies to reduce or eliminate obstacles to independence.

We are searching for an Administrative Assistant III.  This position is responsible for providing administrative support and acting as a point of contact with external and internal customers.  In addition this role manages financial data reporting, coordinates projects, and liaises with other administrative business partners.  The Administrative Assistant III will:

  • Prepare billing and financial authorization processes, payment collection and processing, and financial statements
  • Work collaboratively with Billing to ensure that claims and reimbursements are seamless
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, databases, correspondence and documents
  • Create and maintain efficient and compliant filing systems
  • Serve as the first point of contact for administrative support staff, providing training, assistance and back up support
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors and/or callers, sharing information and taking messages
  • Ensure that all program information and correspondence is handled in accordance with company confidentiality standards
  • Create correspondence, compile statistical information, record meeting minutes and maintain general financial data
  • Handle confidential information with an exceptional level of discretion
  • Provide welcoming environment and attitude to clients and staff involved in outpatient services
  • Complete required intake information with clients - copy insurance information, secure releases, collect co-pay amounts, coordinate communication with other providers as appropriate

Required qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of accuracy in all activities
  • Exceptional sense of confidentiality and discretion

AND EITHER

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Four years of administrative experience

OR

  • Associate's degree
  • Two years administrative experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in an administrative capacity in a nonprofit environment
  • Experience in a mental health care setting
