We are searching for a Human Resources Operations Assistant to perform daily human resources operations.  This role will support workflows related to benefits, payroll, leave of absence, and workers compensation.  Duties include:

  • Providing excellent customer service by responding to employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll and related HR services
  • Entering new employee data, processing terminations and employee data changes and assisting with preparing for new employee orientation
  • Assisting the Benefits Administrator with maintenance of the benefit plans, including supporting all enrollments
  • Assisting the Payroll Specialist with biweekly payroll and mileage reimbursement
  • Preparing and submiting reports
  • Ensuring compliance with COBRA guidelines, maintaining the OSHA 300 log and aiding in OSHA reporting
  • Maintaining absolute confidentiality related to employee data

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate of Arts degree in a Human Resources field
  • One year of experience in a Human Resources role or in a role with HR related tasks

OR

  • High school diploma
  • Three years of experience in a Human Resources role or in a role with HR related tasks
