We are searching for a Psychiatric Nurse (APRN) to work in outpatient clinic settings in either Coon Rapids or Minneapolis.  Our Psychiatric Nurses collaborate with team members and the Clinical Supervisor to serve people with serious mental illnesses and complex comorbidities. We have clinic locations in Minneapolis and Coon Rapids.  Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the psychiatric treatment of clients including diagnostic assessments and prescribing psycho-pharmacological treatments
  • Assessing recipient responses to medication on a consistent basis
  • Meeting clients in a clinic environment and maintaining a flexible schedule
  • Completing diagnostic assessments and documentation within seven days of visit
  • Collaborating with team members by regularly participating in team meetings

Required qualifications:

  • Licensed as an APRN in Minnesota with certification in psychiatric / mental health
  • Current license in good standing with the State of Minnesota
  • Able to independently prescribe medications with current DEA registration or ability to obtain DEA registration number

NOTE: We will also consider upcoming / recent graduates who are in anticipation of achieving their license to practice in psychiatry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience in emergency, inpatient, or community psychiatry
